Style research
TEDx brings the spirit of TED's mission of ideas worth spreading to local communities around the globe. TEDx events are organized by curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks. To reflect the brand feeling and event topic on "Regular People", I've tried several typographic and grid approaches.
Regular website
In the end I've chose the most "regular" look-and-feel. Well-known 12-column grid, black-white-red palette and Helvetica font. Nothing could be more simple and "regular" than this. The only original thing I've used here is "bi-directional scroll" for photos and videos. This helped save space on the page and let visitors scroll through media without leaving the main page.
